This new remix by Montreal electronic music acts Sterling Grove and Giuseppe Lanni lifts Ellyn Woods’ latest single to new heights. On their “Lifted” remix - the first collaborative effort by Sterling Grove and Giuseppe Lanni - the producers push the dancefloor leanings of the original recording even further, incorporating a driving house beat to transform the song into a club-ready anthem. Sterling Grove and Giuseppe Lanni establish a large atmosphere from the start with the echoing vocal sample and a swirling electric piano sound. The thumping kick glues the rich soundscape together, solidified by jangling percussion and a persistent synth bass. The thrilling dance sections are complimented by washy breakdowns, creating a complex, textured recording.
